Traditional Method
• Best for 1st timers & those serious about saving.
• More detail, explanation, guidance than Blended.
• Best for those who prefer an instructor led course.
• There is no online component for Traditional.
• Each student must have a book, per the AHA.
• Course paid by employer. Book paid by employee.
• Easy written test, you are guaranteed to pass.
Blended Method
• Best for experienced providers & renewals.
• Less detail, individual instruction than Traditional.
• More convenient for some than Traditional.
• Online course must be completed prior to skills.
• No book is required for blended, per the AHA.
• Employee pays out of pocket for online course.
• There is no written test for the blended method.
How to enroll in Traditional
• Pick a course from calendar. Use form to enroll.
• Don’t choose class that says “FULL” (no seats).
• $30 book is required, unless can’t afford a book.
• Bring book, borrow from work, or buy in class.
• No pre-course prep needed for Traditional.
• Bring a sweatshirt, we keep the class cool.
• Read your confirmation eMail thoroughly!

• Don’t choose class that says “FULL”.
• Use this link to begin the online course.
• Employee pays $37 by cc to start online.
• Print online certificate & bring to class, or..
• eMail cert before class: cert@cprcentral.com
• Read your confirmation eMail thoroughly.
