PALS Description Individual

Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS

Course Description

Audience: Nurses, Hygienists, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Physicians etc.

CPR Central's PALS courses are taught in a relaxed low pressure format. We have hundreds of positive reviews on this 1 day, 10-12 hour COMBINED initial/renewal course, with most reporting it is the most thorough they have taken. Our courses are so thorough that most area hospitals now use us to train their ER and ICU staff. You can rest assured that this course will be accepted at all area medical institutions. Class fits in one day due to a working lunch, shorter breaks, and videos watched before class.

We will fully cover EKG rhythms, medications, and the "why" behind PALS algorithms. You will observe or participate in the use of: intubation, king airways, OPAs and NPAs, suction, BVMs, needle decompresion, defibrillation, pacing, cardioversion, EZ-IOs, pushing simulated meds, and of course, performing lots of CPR and leading an arrest.

A BLS renewal can be added to PALS for an additional charge.

This is not a "sit in a circle" CPR class. CPR Central teaches professional grade, lecture and skills based courses with paramedic and RN instructors, using clean, professional equipment.

Most local hospitals, care facilities, industrial and service business use CPR Central to train their staff. The course is fun, low pressure, clean, and very informative.
