The State allows two ways to complete this course,

as long as you demonstrate physical skills with an instructor.

Traditional Method

4 hours all in classroom

One class and you’re done.

Blended Method

3 hours online (videos & lecture)

1 hour skills practice & sign-off.

• “Online only” internet courses with no physical skills, do not meet AHA Guidelines.

• Rescue Breathing and Defibrillators (AED) must be taught to meet AHA certification.

• Breathing did not “go away.” Compressions only is not a certification course.

Compressions only CPR does not benefit children, infants, overdoses or drownings.

• And CPR Central believes there is no point to CPR without child & Infant training.
