ACLS and PALS CEU

How to claim CE's for an ACLS or PALS

Traditional course

CE credits are issued through a partnership between The American Heart Association and CAPCE (an EMS based accrediting body). AHA has chosen an EMS CE for all providers. This is not new decision as AHA has used an EMS CE for ACLS and PALS for almost a decade. This CE has been shown to work for all occupations including RN & MD and we are not aware of any state that will not accept the CE as of yet.

The process:

First read all of the instructions below. When you're ready click the green "Go" button below. You will log in to AHA's brand new Atlas website. Create an account, fill out the application, view your CE certificate, and save it. We recommend you IMMEDIATELY SCREEN SHOT the certificate.

CAPCE (the accrediting body) will request a PARAMEDIC license number, registry number, issuing date, and expiration date. Simply substitute YOUR RN/MD/etc. number and dates in these fields instead. If none of the selections apply to you, select "OTHER" or choose the most accurate option available even if it's not completely accurate. The application appears to be mostly for statistical purposes and will issue the certificate regardless of what you enter.

Ultimately CPR Central can not guarantee that you’ll receive CE credits as we are not the accrediting body, so ...Good Luck!
